Thomas Despenser, 1st Earl of Gloucester,
born 1373.

He mar Constance of York [grand-dau of Edward III].
He took part in the Epiphany Rising against Henry IV in Jan 1400.
He was lynched by a mob loyal to the King at Bristol, Jan 1400, age 27 yrs. They beheaded him.
He was buried at Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucestershire. See findagrave.
She died 1416.
Thomas and Constance had issue:


  1. Richard Despenser, 4th Baron Burghersh, born 1396.
    He died 1414.
    He was buried at Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucestershire.


  2. Isabel le Despenser,
    born (after her father's death) 26 July 1400.
